Cala Nova beach -
North East of the island
This is my "local" beach, the photograph having been taken
from my room in the Cala Nova hotel. As you can see, this is one of the very few beaches that provide surfing opportunities but it does have dangerous currents if you stray more than about 40 metres out and at certain stages of the tide it does shelve quite steeply so keep an eye on the young ones. It is well served by bars/restaurants and for the last two years has had life guards on duty from 10.00am to 6.00pm |
