Las Salinas beach -

South of the island

One of my favourite beaches, you can walk out 50 mtrs into
the crystal clear water and still be only thigh deep. The
beach is long and quite narrow with fine sand and is well
served by bars and reataurants - can get very busy on
weekends in the high season with many locals using it. The
parking, which used to be plentiful was restricted in 2002
due to local disputes between land owners and the local
council. Nude bathing is the norm at the opposite end from
the salt loading area.
